Though this one is pretty obvious, I like him for several reasons. Martin Freeman’s Watson is, in my opinion, a great character and he is made of kittens, but Benedict Cumberbach’s acting was suburb and his portrayal of Sherlock was just spectacular.

‘No, look - this whole thing scares the hell outta me, okay? But whatever you decide to do, I’ll be there. And if you’re not ready, then you’re not ready, but if you wanna have this baby - then so do I, and whatever it takes for me to be a good father, I’ll be there. Always. I promise you. I won’t let you down.’

30 Day Lucas Scott Challenge | Day 06
Favorite relationship
“It’s always going to be there, isn’t it? You and me.”
If a single line of dialogue could sum up an entire relationship, that one would do the trick quite well.
Lucas Scott had a couple of loves in his life aside from Peyton Sawyer, but I think that even when he didn’t realize it (take the beginning of season four, for example), his heart was always with her. She just…got him. In this fandom, I hear so often from other fans that he and Brooke had this incredible chemistry and there was that whole “opposites attract” thing—and I won’t deny that Lucas and Brooke did have chemistry, as couples often do—but I mean, come on, did you watch Lucas and Peyton over the years? Compatibility couldn’t have come any finer than these two. It was more than just chemistry; Luke and P. Sawyer were deeply connected, spiritually and intellectually. They were so much alike that there was this sort of silent understanding between them…they knew each other better than anyone else ever did or ever could. And when Lucas said things like “I always knew you” to Peyton, when you think about it, he kind of did. He always got her, because in some ways, she was just like him. Even in the beginning, when she was hesitant to let him in, he kept pushing, because much like himself, he knew there was more to her than met the eye. He always knew she was worth knowing, worth having in his life, and he wanted her to know him and to be a part of her life, too. With time, as their worlds began to collide more and more, I think he truly came to understand her and ultimately realize that he couldn’t live his life without her. I believe he realized that before he even admitted it romantically (“Oh my God, Peyton, I would never say that! I would never cut you out of my life!”). There was this bond that formed between them that no man or woman or circumstance could ever fully sever. Through friendship, through love, through heartache and sacrifices and misunderstandings, they somehow managed to find their way back to one another every time. And in the most awe-inspiring instances in which they professed their love for one another, they did so through their passions—Peyton through her art, and Lucas through his writing.
One of the things that I think made this relationship work so well was that deep down, the two of them were the best of friends, and I think that was an important foundation on which to build their romantic relationship. Lucas and Peyton’s first try at a relationship didn’t go so well, but in the time that followed, they got past the mistakes and hurt feelings and developed a friendship that brought them closer. They could tell each other anything and be themselves around one another because of that friendship, and eventually, their love, their hearts, and fate fell into place. That friendship of theirs was even part of what made it hard for them to move on from their relationship after they split…though Lucas denied he still loved her (read: he still did), he couldn’t let her go. He always proudly proclaimed that he wanted and needed to be there for Peyton, whether he was romantically involved with someone else or not, because she was his friend.
Lucas is a good man who had the desire to love another fully, but he had a hard time being honest and admitting what he felt in his heart when he knew it was going to hurt others, and I think he ultimately feared giving his heart to someone else and winding up getting it broken. This fear seemed especially prominent when it came to Peyton, because whenever he felt rejected by her, the fall he took afterward was hard. And though several times he swore he could move on, he couldn’t. He didn’t. Out of all the girls he loved, the one he seemed most unable to let go of was Peyton Sawyer. And even if he couldn’t say what was in his heart, his face (Chad’s face, if we must be technical) always said what he didn’t or couldn’t say with his words, and there was no exception when it came to his feelings for Miss Sawyer. His love for her was something he wasn’t ever really willing to lose—he came back to her time and time again because in the end, no woman would ever love him or understand him quite like Peyton Sawyer did…and no man would ever know, protect, and love Peyton Sawyer better than Lucas Scott.
In the end, these two crazy kids overcame all obstacles, tied the knot, and rode off into the sunset in the Comet with their baby girl in tow, and my heart couldn’t have smiled more.

30 Day Lucas Scott Challenge | Day 07
Favorite basketball scene
“He passes to Lucas for a three and the win!”
When Lucas makes the game-winning shot in the state championship game, oh, God. The whole damn team and their fantastic coach deserved that win, but dammit, let me tell you—Lucas Scott deserved to make that shot. It’s kind of a déjà vu moment, because here you have the game riding on one final shot to save the day, and the ball is in Luke’s hands, just like the game in 1x22, “The Games That Play Us”. In that particular game, Lucas takes the shot and misses, and it’s absolutely devastating for everyone in witness of it, especially Luke. It’s like one final punch in the gut before he’s set to leave Tree Hill with his Uncle Keith in search of himself and a new life, and it’s enough to break anyone’s heart.
So here we are, in the state championships their senior year, and after a turbulent and emotion-filled game, the Ravens have turned it around and all of them have played their hearts out. There’s ten seconds left on the clock and Nathan, who is now in it to win it, passes the ball to Skills, who passes it back to Nathan. There’s five seconds left and Nathan drives for the hoop…and while he could make the shot himself, he chooses to pass the ball to Luke, who’s in position for a three-pointer. Suddenly, Lucas finds himself with the ball in his hands and the fate of this game riding on his shoulders. There is so much riding on this shot…the fate of their last game as Ravens, the memory of the last real game Lucas will ever play, and a state championship win for Coach Whitey Durham and his team before he’s set to retire. As the scene plays, there are glimpses of other characters—Dan, Karen, Whitey, Haley, Peyton, Brooke, Mouth—and their faces are filled with all the same emotions. Fear. Excitement. Hope.
Lucas takes the shot…
And he makes it. He makes the shot. And there is so much excitement that even as a viewer you can’t help but get swept up in it all, like you’re a part of the team or the town of Tree Hill, too. There’s so much pride to be felt, because those boys and that coach deserved it. And Lucas—my sweet, darling Lucas, who gave up the sport he loved for his health and got to return to it even after his heart tried to stop him—he deserved this win. This is such a great moment for him…and as anyone who has seen this episode knows, it only gets better for him. In the midst of falling confetti and celebration and cries of joy, he finds a moment of clarity and realizes that something (or more specifically, someone) he’s been searching for has been there all along.

3O Day ONE TREE HILL CHALLENGE
DAY FIVE : FAVORITE ACTOR
One thing I truly admire about an actor is when they are able to take on any type of role and nail it. That is in fact the reason I love Chad Michael Murray I mean yes he is highly attractive, but he def has that onion layer acting aspect about him. I’m so glad he was chosen to play Lucas, because it has given him the ability to show the world that he isn’t just a pretty boy. One tree hill is one of those shows were anything is possible and emotion is the key to every scene. With that boyish grin, passionate eyes, and good use of body language it doesn’t matter if it’s a funny, sad, exciting, or whatever type scene Chad knows how to drawn in his audience and make them feel what he is portraying. Lucas Scott is a character that viewers admire and relate to. Life isn’t always easy and we got to make the best of it, Live today as if there is no tomorrow, crazy moments make the best memories, Write with your heart that way it flows, Friendships can be complicated, but those worth holding on to you will fight for, love with all your heart, because with that comes true happiness… just to name a few lessons Lucas Scott has provided his audience with. His actions are believable and make you want to react or feel…to be there for a friend, to fight for the one you love, the feeling of losing a loved one, getting your heart broken, scared of the present and future ect…What can I say @ChadMMurray is just that awesome and no one could have done a better job portraying Lucas Scott.
